Family Reunioin Weekend

Hi everybody, it’s been a while since my last post. Summer is a busy time!
My family recently had a reunion (we do this annually) in Door County. Here is a photo of the crew.
The weather cooperated this year with moderate temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Activities inclued a lot of game playing, a lot of swimming, a lot of eating and of course, a bit of drinking. Everybody had a great time.
On the way home I stopped at Cave Point County Park with my wife and 2 daughters. Here are the girls showing their modeling aspirations.
Cave Point is a rugged stretch of Lake Michigan shoreline. It would be best viewed from a kayak or canoe early in the morning. I however was there midday with no boat so my photos are all from dry land. I did some panos and made them into VR’s. See them below. Click anywhere in the photo and drag around.

A Little About Me
I became interested in photography shortly after high school. My first camera was a fully manual SLR in 1982. I made the switch to digital in 1999. In the time between those two dates I studied engineering, computer programming, sold photo retail, managed photo labs, photographed weddings and portraits and got married myself. In 1993 I found Image Studios and they were gracious enough (or desperate enough) to hire me to manage their photo lab. By 1998 it was apparent that digital photography was the future so I became a student of Photoshop. Here I found a way to combine both my technical nature and my love of photography. It wasn't long before I was employed full time as a Photoshop Operator. Today, I am still producing photographic composites via Photoshop for Image Studios.

Thanks for sharing Bob. It’s quite a commitment to gather a big family all the way to Door Co. The Panoramic images are great too. Looks like fun with a Kayak.
